Misbehaving widgets in Captivate 6. How to debug?

Hi, we are trying to fix a problem with a Captivate project that we taken over maintenance of. It involves quite a complex screen containing lots of checkboxes where we walk the user through choosing the correct options. The checkboxes worked fine in Captivate 5.5. We changed some other part of the project using Captivate 6 but now the checkboxes don't work properly. You click the checkbox and it doesn't respond. Our working theory is that this got broken by the change from Cap5.5 to Cap6. What debug options are available to us for investigating a problem like this. Thanks!

PS The subject should be "Misbehaving CHECKBOXES in Captivate 6. How to debug?" There are no third-party widgets as far as I know.

With so little information, impossible to give you an answer. I did explain the use of checkboxes in CP6, maybe you could find some help in that post:

Since you are on CP6 (which I no longer have installed), I suspect you are really talking about the widget, not about the learning interaction (appeared in CP7 if my memory is correct). This means that the article is totally valid for your case. Here is another link, because I recommend to download Jim Leichliter's free extended widgets:

If these check boxes use a widget, you may need to replace the widget with another one that is compatible with your current version of Captivate.  Each new version of Captivate is likely to change something 'under the hood' that will break older widgets when you upgrade the project.
