Mobile Audio issues on Responsive projects in SharePoint 2010

Hello

I am hoping someone out there will have run into or maybe some insight into a specific issue I am encountering.

When viewing Adobe Captivate 8 responsive projects there is no Audio playback when the project is viewed on a mobile device from a SharePoint location.

Playback on a desktop from the same SharePoint location is completely fine.

I have done some testing, loading the same project to 3 separate server types/locations (one as a zip 2 as standard folders) the only 1 that had audio issues was the SharePoint.

In two instances (1 zipped, 1 standard folder) the audio playback on mobile/desktop/tablet was perfect, however when loaded to SharePoint there was no audio on Mobile or Tablet, yet the desktop played exactly as it should.

I realise this is not a fault with Captivate 8 directly, more a fault with how captivate is interacting with SharePoint and I am asking in other more SharePoint specific locations however I have always found forum users here to be insightful and be able to see the bigger picture, but with respect please don't comment if all you wish to say is don't use SharePoint!

The SharePoint server may need to be configured to properly serve the audio format.

Did into the files you've published for the audio, and see if it's stored as MP3, or some other format.

Test to see if other files of this format will play from that SharePoint server, if not you may have to ask the server admin to configure the mime type.

Also, have you tested from your end by trying different browsers?

Thanks for responding BDuckworks,

Audio files are stored as mp3.

Other audio files in other captivate created projects play fine (.mp3 format) on Sharepoint just not the responsive projects

Tested this on mobile, tablet and desktop using multiple browsers, they all worked via desktop but failed to load audio in mobile view accross multiple browsers.

I will pass your suggestion on regarding mime type to our tech support and see where they go.
