Motion path created in CP8 file removed in CP9

Can someone please try this for me and see if they get the same result.

1. Create a simple animation in CP8 using a motion path effect on a smart shape.

2. Group that smart shape with another smart shape

3. Test to make sure your animation plays as expected.

4. Save the file and then open in CP9

I have found that CP8 files that I have shapes with motion paths applied to are removed when this file is opened in CP9. This only seems to happen when the effect is grouped. Please post your results here.

    Yup, did see that a while ago, learned not to group shapes when motion paths are applied.  I found out with the first file I created in this post:

    Thanks Lieve for replying and Adobe are aware of this bug. With all of CP9s great new features it's a little disappointing that when I sat down to do some real work that I hit potholes right out of the gate.

    I am feeling the same, Andy. This version has really a lot of great new useful features, and it is such a pity that this kind of bugs is spoiling the excitement. Crossing my fingers that they will be solved soon.
