Motion Paths Applied to Grouped Lines
I am new to Adobe Captivate (long time stand-up instructor, though). I have a graphic similar to an electronic schematic in which I have many lines and "dots" that connect them. In order to focus on one particular part of the schematic, I have set motion paths on the non-important lines to have them fly out, leaving only the portion of interest. Since I have *lots* of lines and dots, I have grouped them (about 50 groups in all) to shorten the time needed to set up the motion paths.
It all looks good using the play button at the bottom of the timeline, however when I preview or publish to .exe, many lines end up at the upper left corner of the screen. This also happens on a much simpler slide with 5 grouped lines that I want to move up and down together. If I ungroup them, I can set individual motion paths for the lines, and with some tweaking, make them all appear to move as one. But when grouped, some lines of the group move as expected, and some end up in the upper left corner.
My questions are: Is this known/expected behavior? Am I applying motion paths incorrectly?
I am using Captivate 2017. I have searched the forum, and could find similar issues, but I don't think any were for this specific behavior.
Thank you!
