Mouse Clicks/Text Typing Causing Audio Narration to Drop in Captivate 9 - audio glitches

Every time a mouse click or text typing happens the audio drops out completely from a slide. Even if I click to remove the sound, there is still a drop left on the audio during playback of the entire slide only. It was random. It did it on 3/4 of the slides, and not on others. 

 It's not there if I just play the audio. And sometimes, during software simulation, captivate 9 will cut the audio in a middle of a word causing a glitch. I've had to redo and redo this audio. It seems to work better if I record the audio after software simulation, although it doesn't recognize how to move across slides even though I enter the number of slides to use. 

It also cuts off the end of slides audio many times. Not sure why there are so many audio issues??? I added some extra background sound with music, and it worked fine. 

I also tried normalized the audio, and it didn't work at all, so I had to manually go in and try to adjust the audio.
