Mouse Cursor being Captured Despite Settings

Using Adobe Captivate 9.0.0.223 on Mac OS X 10.12.6

When using the Software Simulation capture option, Adobe Captivate captures a mouse cursor that's baked into the background (so I have to manually remove it) and it does not automatically insert Click Boxes. This despite setting up the "Training Simulation" (there is no "Software Simulation" option) preferences:

Manually adding clickboxes and removing mouse cursors baked into the background needlessly adds time to my workflow. This seems like a bug and would like to have a solution.

Thanks!

Pkease, you are still on the first release of 9, missed 3 patcges. Can you update to 9.0.2.437?

After updating to the latest version, the mouse cursor is no longer being "baked in" to the background, but the clickboxes still aren't automatically being added. This isn't a huge deal though.

Another issue I'm experiencing has to do with the Mouse object, but I will start a separate thread for that question.

Thanks!

That is strange, I heard about problems with the TEB's, but not with click boxes. I see that you took out the Hint and the Failure caption (or shape). What happens when you restore at least one of them?

With your video file open in captivate, try going to the Edit Menu / Edit Mouse Points. You may be able to delete the mouse points in there.

There is some misunderstanding. 'Edit Mouse Points' exists only in a Video Demo project (cpvc-file). However the OP shows a screenshot which tells that he is talking about a simulation project, Training mode, which is a cpttx-project. That workflow is totally different.
