Mouse pointer not visible on recorded Video Demo

In Cp 6 on Windows 7, I have checked Preferences->Recording->Video Demo->Show mouse pointer

However, the mouse pointer is visible only when over text areas (when it becomes a small vertical line). It's not visible otherwise, when it has normally an arrow shape, no matter what application is being recorded. I've unchecked this option, checked again, restarted computer, but still no mouse pointer.

But it was there when I was recording a few days ago. I don't remember changing anything special on the computer.

Can someone help?

Try clearing the Project Cache (button in Preferences) and then rebooting your computer.

Nope, still no mouse after clearing cache and rebooting. I also tried recording with Automatic/manual Panning and Full Screen, but nothing seems to make Captivate capture the mouse arrow pointer. In Cp standard recording (slide by slide) the mouse is recorded correctly. No idea what to do (I need Video Demo), especially that I know it *did* work well some time ago. Maybe Captivate has some error log? (I checked in Windows log but nothing there from Cp)

The interesting thing is, when I record in Cp standard mode (with slides) and press F9 which starts FMR, the mouse is visible. Also, it looks good, but I think the mouse movement is not as smooth as in Video Demo.. although, it might be subjective. I'll record in FMR for now, but it would be good to solve the problem with Video Demo mouse, especially that the same problem might happen to FMR as well.

You cannot record in FMR anymore in CP6. FMR is only used during Automatic Capture, following the settings for that kind of capture.
