Question

Move to next module oracle

I'm using Oracle LMS, I have a course consists of two modules ( 2 Learning Objects, 2 Captivate 8.1 projects), the 1st LO is a prerequisite for the 2nd one.

The prerequisite is set in the LMS level. when the user completes LO1, they need to exit and re-enter the course so the LMS will mark the prerequisite as complete, and make LO2 available to the users.

How I can set the navigation in Captivate to jump to the next module without exiting the course? i.e. how to send tracking data at the last slide of the first module to activate the navigation in LMS for the module 2?

    Short answer: You don't.

It's better to let the LMS handle this as you are currently doing.  Check into whether or not your LMS has some kind of Auto Continue function that will automatically launch the next available module when they finish the first one.

Thank you for your instant reply.

I was expecting an answer telling me to use the Multi-SCORM packager in Captivate or Reload-editor as a solution. So is this not recommended?

Another question: In Captivate settings what does "AtEnd" in "SendTrackingDataAtEnd" option means? does it mean exiting the course ? or reaching last slide?

One last question : In Captivate reporting settings, [LMS Advanced Settings], Will using any of the ticks solve the problem? (Send Data at Every Slide; Never Send Resume Data. Set Exit to normal after passed)

    Regards,
