Mp3 Error on playback "error code = 2 n/w state = 1"

I'm having an issue where the audio on my slides has started getting cut off when I'm going through the module.  In the Chrome console I'm getting this log:  ".../ar/220954.mp3 error code = 2 n/w state = 1" with a reference to "CPM.js".  Anyone know what to make of the error codes?  I googled, but I only found one reference to youtube permission causing issues.  This does not reference any streamed or outside content.

Thanks,

Ken

This is still an ongoing issue without a resolution.  Several of our training modules are having these issues.  Very unprofessional Adobe.  As the head of our development department, I can say this has me considering changing platforms.

Typically the cutout happens in the same place as described by others above.  Slide 1 plays correctly.  Shortly into slide 2, the audio cuts out.  Slide 3 the audio begins to play again.

Then if you replay the affected file, you don't even get the short bit of audio which played initially.

i will update as we try to solve this internally with a workaround, but if anyone has made any progress on this, I'd love to hear about it.

Okay, I got with my IT and figured out the issue.  It has to do with the Windows firewall running on my specific computer (not our network firewall).  If the windows firewall is turned on, then it fails.  Turn it off everything works fine.  Since we're behind a corporate firewall I don't really have a use for the local one.  Turned that off and all is well.

Did you provide a small gap before and after the audio clip on each slide?

Not really.  Let me try it out though.

That prevents Captivate stitching all the audio clips together to a global project clip, which causes often that type of issues.
