Multi SCO with captivate 12?

this might be a dumb question, but if I'm creating SCORM 1.2 compliant SCOs can I package them in a Multi-SCO on Captivate 12 or only on the 2019 release?

As far as I know, at this point in time there appears to be no MultiSCO Packaging tool that ships with Captivate 12. (None was installed when I installed Captivate 2023.)

I just did a quick test with a couple of Captivate 12 SCOs and the Cp2019 MultiSCO Packager tool accepted them and published out a MultiSCORM zip file.

Now, that doesn't guarantee that everything will work properly when you upload it to your LMS. But it is certainly an encouraging sign.

Hi,

I'm writing to share an update on the concern you have raised about Multi SCORM Packager shortcut being created on installing CP 12 using the package downloaded from Adobe admin console. A bug #CPNXT-17203 has been logged internally and will be resolved in the future Captivate update(s). We do not have an ETA on the release date of next update however, the information would be made available in the release notes provided on Adobe platforms, when the update is rolled out. Meanwhile, as an alternative, you may either ignore the shortcut as it'd not impact the application's functionality, remove the multi SCORM packager shortcut manually from the device or install Captivate by downloading the setup from this URL and it shall not create the shortcut: https://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html.
