Multiple Failure Captions

I am working in Captivate 4.  On my slide, I have a Text Entry Box.  I wanted the learner to have 2 chances to type the right answer before we continue.  I want to show two different Failure Captions...However; even on the Text Entry Box option, when I choose 2 for Allow User Attempts. I only get 1 Failure Caption?

Another possible solution in addition to Rick's idea of using two clicboxes on the same slide is to set the clickboxes to allow 1 attempt and then set the Failure Criteria action to jump to another identical-looking slide which has another clickbox that will show a different failure message.  You could go on indefinitely like this.

    Hi there

Sorry, but only Question slides offer multiple failure captions. (You may configure up to a total of 3).

What you might consider is adding a second Text Entry Box on the slide. The first will be configured with its failure caption and the correct response will move to the next slide. The incorrect response will be to continue. Then the second Text Entry Box would be staged where the second failure caption would be configured.

    Cheers... Rick
