Multiple feedbacks for 1 click in Captivate 6

Hi,

I'm creating a software training in Assessment mode in Captivate 6. The user needs to click on the correct spot to move forward. I'm trying to figure out how to give different feedback for each wrong click.

For example, if they don't click the right spot the first time the feedback says "Incorrect, try again.' If they make another incorrect click the feedback says "Access that tool in the  XYZ menu." If they make a third incorrect click the learner sees the mouse make the correct click and the Captivate moves to the next screen.

How do I set up additional incorrect feedbacks?

Thanks.

You'll need to set this up yourself using user variables to count the number of times a user clicks something OTHER than the correct item and use SHOW/HIDE actions to show these custom feedback captions.  It can be done but it requires a reasonable amount of thought and effort.

Thanks Rod. Sounds like a good long-term project for me to work on when time permits.
