Multiple Interactions on One Slide

Hello - I'm using Captivate 8. I'm trying to create a slide with multiple interactions. So, the user will need to click on multiple objects, each time revealing a unique hidden object. I've created multiple smart shapes, all with an action that when clicked on it shows a hidden object.

When the slide is reached, it runs for 1.5 seconds, then pauses. I'm assuming this is because the smart shapes all show Active: 1.5s. I'm running into trouble in that after the user clicks on the first object, the slide stops being paused and runs to the end. Basically, I don't want it to do that until all the objects have been clicked on and the hidden objects revealed. But I haven't figured out a way to prevent the slide from continuing to play once the first object is clicked on.

Any suggestions?

Appreciate the help.

    Have a look at:

Why choose Standard over Simple action? - Captivate blog

This article has also a link to a YouTube video illustrating the difference in behaviour between simple action, that will release the playhead and a standard advanced (or shared) action that will not release the playhead. In CP9 there is now the possibility to uncheck 'Continue playing the project', but since you are still on 8, you'll have to replace all the actions by a oneline standard action. If they are all about showing and hiding something, I would recommend creating a shared action.
