multisco packager not working on mac

‌Multisco Packager does not work on a Mac. So anyone serious about using Captivate for professional elearning development should be advised not to use this product. I understand that this is a known bug (#4008809), and is being looked into. How long is anyone's guess; but if it's anything like when Mac operating system was upgraded to Mavericks, and Captivate stopped working altogether, it could be months! What do I tell my clients?

Apparently this function does work in Windows, so it is obvious that Adobe has little regard for maintaining their products on the Mac platform. If this is the case then I would like my product licence to cover both operating systems, allowing me to maintain continuity of service for my clients and without further expense. I would welcome anyone from Adobe being brave enough to make this offer. Thankfully I am not using the CreativeCloud service otherwise I would be claiming a refund until this product is fixed.

I think you're a little late to the party dude.

If you're on Captivate 8 then according to the information here your license DOES cover both Win and MAC platforms.

Now maybe you could show good faith and apologise to all the good people at Adobe you just insulted without cause?
