My single clicks are doubles in published version

OK, this is weird.  The cp file shows the clicks as singles, but all are double-clicks in the version uploaded to the web (swf/htm).  Even the playback controls are double clicks.  Anyone had this happen before?

    I  'saved as' another cp file, then republished everything and it works fine now.  I'd still like to hear if anyone has any clues.
