My slide keeps reverting back to the original time duration, even though I've changed it several times?

I'm creating a course and had a slide set to 9 seconds, but then wanted to change it to 4. I change it to 4, but it keeps reverting back to 9. I've never experienced this. Is there a bug in the software?

    You do not have slide audio on that slide?

    No I don't have audio on it

    Clear the cache, and if it doesn't help, close Captivate and run the CleanPreferences: you'll find it in the subfolder 'utils' in the installation folder of Captivate:
