My Video Does not pause?

Question

Hi! New issue to my video situation. I use a shape to pause my .mp3 video. However, the shape does not appear at all! I've uploaded the video as an Event Video as well as a Multi-State video (I keep this all on one slide). The same occurs.

I do not have a playbar on this project.

However, when I do a put a playbar on it, I notice the video plays though the end, then I click my playbar and the slide (not the video) begins and pauses where I want it to.

I think there is a video setting issue?

The only way to conrol a video with Captivate buttons is to inert it as a multislide synchronized video. An event video plays totally independently from Captivate, has its individual control panel including a Pause button. Multistate video is only possible with event video, so it is the same situation.
