If you want to import a lot of images at the same time, I strongly recommend to import them to the Library, using the Import button:

    µ

They will all be put automatically in the Images folder. It is than very easy to drag an image on a slide from the Library. It will avoid you to have to follow the before described work flow each time.

Moreover, if you have access to a SVG image instead of any bitmap image (GIF, JPEG, PNG) they are to be preferred because vector-based which means much better quality on resizing. There is a dedicated SVG folder in the Library as you see in this screenshot. Look at the size: less than 2KB for those images.

Another tip: avoid resizing images in Captivate: both for file size and quality reasons, if you do have to use bitmap images. That restriction is not valid for SVG's.

    Hi,

to insert a static image in Captivate 8 you can use the media icon, then click on 'Image'.

You will browse the folders on your computer to locate the image you need.
