Need to Publish captivate course to .exe...not available in captivate 9 or 2017

I just recently updated to from Captivate 9 to 2017 version and recently discovered I can publish e-learning course to .exe instead of the SWF or HTML. Looking at both Captivate 9 and 2017 version I notice that its not in my drop down for publishing they are not available. I have the subscription version and a co-worker purchased their version of Captivate 9 and the .exe publishing option is available. Do the subscription and full license price differ in features. My company is exploring .exe e-learning programs as a solution for slow internet connectivity and that is affecting download. I hoe someone can help on this issue.

Is there any reason why the executable option would be missing from the menu? The only option I have to publish is SWF/HTML5.

I too am using a non-responsive project with nothing embedded that should preclude exe.  Suggestions?  Thank you.

Publishing to exe is only available for normal projects, not for responsive projects. Reason: exe is Flash-based and responsive projects can only have HTML5 output because mobile devices do not support Flash. There is no difference between the app in subscription or perpetual license.

Thank you!  for highlighting the difference between publishing normal and responsive projects. None of the the projects I am working are responsive the published courses are being sent to over 1000+ Laptops which may not have optimum internet speed to run the course through an LMS. Making them .exe files and forcing it through the monthly updates would alleviate the current situation. So where is the .exe capability in Captivate 2017. Here is a screen shot of a co-workers who has Captivate 9 with a full license.

It's in the same place.  Publish button > Publish to Computer > drop down the menu to select EXE.
