Nested Projects

Hello,

I have a big project which I would like to separate. I created several Captivate projects for each of my topics and a "master project" from which the user launches the different sub-project. At the end of each project the user should be brought back to the main selection slide.

I tried:

  1. Call the sub-projects as annimaltion object. This ends up as one presentation embedded in another, two control panels at the bottom. Very ugly, not accepatble (see attached image).
  2. Call the sub-project by "open other project" within a click field. This seem to work only within HTML, I cannot start SWF directly. And it does not bring me bach to the main selection slide.

How should I implement this?

Any help appreciated!

Can you specify the version of CP used?

    Do you use a LMS?

    Have you tried Aggregator?

    Sorry about the questions...

Thanks Lilybiri for your resonse! Here are the answers:

    1. I'm using Captivate 4

    2. I do not use LMS

    3. I haven't known about Aggregator bud have checked it right away. I think it will not work. My presentation starts with some slides that introdusce into the topic. What follows is a kind of map where the user can click on certain areas to start the specific demo (SWF file). I've attached a screen shot of that page. I would not know how to implement it with an aggregator.

I've seen many folks looking into the question but no answer. I wonder whether the issue has no solution or whether the question is unclear stated. I would be glad to get some guidance.
