New Adobe Captivate

My new Captivate continues to "not respond" and I have to force the app to close where I lose my work if it is not saved immediately. WHat is the fix for this?

    I cannot just give you a fix, just some suggestions and questions. Personally I also frequently have non-responding and lost projects. 

    • Do you have the application installed on your system, not on a networked drive?
    • Are your documents, which have the default paths for the projects and the cache also on your system?
    • Did you install this new version from scratch, or did you have another version of Captivate?
    • If you had a previous version did you clean the Preferences?

    Everything is on my laptop and updated to the newest version. They are having me load a new beta version.
