[New Captivate] How to add video navigation bar in Slide Video

I'm new to Captivate in general. I want to add a video progress bar/timeline so viewers know how long the video is and how far through the video they are. Think YouTube or any other video player. I don't necessarily want them to be able to skip ahead, but I want them to see their progress.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to add this fuction, though I'm sure it's there.

All I see is basic play/pause and volume controls.

I don't know if this is helpful, but when you use the video grid instead of just the video option it automatically gives your video controls like on youtube. I don't know why the single video layout doesn't give you the same option.

Hi there! I stumbled onto your enquiry when looking into the same thing. However our developer added this function and I had to fix it on a specific slide.

    You can try this function:

Hey! You’re right — the default video player in the new Captivate only shows basic controls. There’s no built-in progress bar like YouTube (yet), unless you let users scrub through.

One workaround is to simulate a progress bar with overlays, but it’s not native. Hoping Adobe adds this soon!
