New Captivate vs. Classic Captivate

Question

I read tthat in August 2027,  Adobe was going to stop supporting Classic Captivate. If this is the case, are there plans to make it possible to open Classic projects in the new version of Captivate. Without this capability, we will have to recreate many Classic projects, which would be extremely time consuming. And I'm sure we're not the only company that this would impact.

Indeed there are plans for enabling the import of projects from Captivate Classic in the all-new version. In this sneak preview on Paul Wilson's channel you can see/hear Sharath Ramaswamy, Senior Learning Evangelist from Adobe introduce us to this plan which will be realised sooner than later.
