Hi all,

First time poster here. I am creating some Question Pools in Captivate 3, I am wondering if there is a way to have a style or template that the NEWLY created question slide will look like (creating . I hate it that I have to move everything around and change the colors, styles and fonts for each question slide!

As a workaround, I have been duplicating the question slides to keep the same design/layout, it gets really confusing though because I have to change the question text, the answers and redefine the correct answer. It's just more chances for errors.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know of a way to make question slide templates in CP3, but what I do is similar to yourself. I have made a blank question slide for each of the different types of questions, all set up with the same background, colours, fonts etc. But I have just inserted question marks in place of the question text and answers etc (?????) and then simply duplicate the slide using Ctrl+ D and then overtype the ???? with the text / answers for that question.

Once set up it seems to work well. You can even copy the slides for use in other projects (open 2 projects at same time)

Not sure if CP4 has anything different.

@webbo1968: That sounds better than the way I do it. Having a bunch of ??????? will probably make easier to see that text needs to be entered.
Thanks for the tip.

Any other ways to tackle this?
