Newbie Adobe Captivate question

I assume I am doing something wrong and just don't realize - here is my issue.
I have 2 ***.exe files that are training files created in captivate that I want to watch.
They sort of play but don't. I see the starting screen but I don't get sound and does not continue to play.
Should this just work or do I need software. I am running XP pro with flash and shockwave installed.

    Hi Acester,
    You probably have a click-box or other actionable item on slide #1 that is set to "pause untl clicked" or is otherwise waiting for user input.

    Try outputting as SWF/HTM to see if they play as Flash output.

    Yes, this should "just work" ... there isn't any other software you need and no magic wand to wave. Let us know ... I'm sure its something simple and we'll get to the bottom of it.
