Hello,

I am working in Adobe CP9 and would like my Next/Skip button in my quizzes to only require 1 click to continue forward.  Right now it is a double click.  Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Reading this blog post could offer you some insight in the design of the default question slides:

Question Question Slides in Captivate - Captivate blog

It was written for versions before CP9. In Cp9 there is no longer confusion possible between Skip and Next buttons: during the quiz you do not need a Next button at all, it is a Skip button. During Review there is a new dedicated Next (and a Back) button so that users can navigate.

The Submit process is indeed a two-step process with very logical reasons:

    1. User clicks on Submit: the feedback messages appear, and user has time to read them, then go to the second step. That means that if you want to skip this step, there will be no feedback messages or you'll have to use the tweak I described in the forementioned blog post/
    2. Second step: clicking on the slide or pressing Y: only then will the playhead be released (no pausing anymore) and the actions On Success or Last Attempt will be executed. If you have more than one attempt on quiz level, the Last Attempt action will not be done but a Retry caption appears and the user can re-enter a new answer.
