    Hi there,

Please check the complete version of Captivate 6 (help > about adobe captivate), it should be 6.0.1.240 or 6.1.0.319.

Select a slide and in the properties of that slide, increase the quality to 24 bit or optimized. Now, do this for every slide.

Then go to Edit> Preferences > SWF size and quality, make that to custom and uncheck Advanced Project Compression, uncheck Compress full motion swf file and uncheck Compress SWF file.

Then publish and at the time of publishing 'force republish all slides should be checked'

    Thanks.

I updated all the suggested setting above and double checked the version.

However I am publishing directly to Youtube.  Is there a "force republish all slides should be checked" when publishing to Youtube?

    Hi there,

You will only get that option when you will click on file > Publish.

If you are publishing to youtube, then you will not get that option.

Can you publish to .mp4 from that project and check force republish option. (File > Publish > Media , then select .mp4)

then check that .mp4 how it works, and then upload that to youtube.

    Thanks.

What is the slide quality you are using, and which exact version do you have: 6.0.1.240 or 6.1.319?

If the slide quality is Low, change it to Optimized. If this doesn't solve the problem, turn off all Compression settings in Preferences, Project, SWF size and Quality. When publishing, check the option Force republish all the slides

I have captivate 2019 and I am having this issue and it needs to be resolved quickly. I tried your suggestions and no resolution.

It's frustrating and a no go to give customer.

Please start a new thread, this old thread was for CP6.

You will have to explain the problem. Are you on 11.0.1.266? Which type of file (responsive, non-responsive), is this a software simulation? Are you publishing to SWF or to HTML5? Did you check after uploading to a webserver or a LMS?
