No Internet Connection due to government information system requirements. How do I download and activate Adobe Captivate 9 software? Will Adobe send a CD with the provisions of calling the help desk for activation? Additionally, do I handle upgrades much the same way via the LWS?

    Hi There,

    You can download Adobe Captivate either from Adobe's website or via LWS . You will need internet connection to download it. One thing you can do here is to download it on another system having Internet connection and then copy it over to the system with no Internet connection and install it.

    Adobe is nearly done away with physical media. The only option you have for getting a CD/DVD would be to call Adobe to order it, but it's going to cost a few dollars. Also, I believe that activation can still be done over the phone, but if you have a subscription-based license for Captivate you'll have to call in once a month to have it reactivated as all monthly subscription software validates you have a current license for the software each month.
