No Object toolbar

The only toolbar available in the Window menu is Align.  Any suggestions?

    You are on CP8? All toolbars except Align are gone, sorry. You have to use

    the Big Button Bar, it replaces the movable object toolbar - too bad.

    Thanks.  The PDF manual for 8 talks about moving the toolbar around and such.  Can no longer undock toolbars/properties/filmstrip either?

    Not in newbie mode and default setting is in that mode. Even the so important timeline panel is hidden, or better reduced to its title bar. Decisions to change the UI have been taken to make it 'easier' for newbies. But I regret a lot that the Help documentation was not changed and still has a lot of references to the old UI, and other useful aspects are totally missing (like description/use of the learning interactions).

    The Align toolbar and the Big Button Toolbar are fixed, you cannot move them as you could do in previous versions, not even in Expert mode. Sighing...
