Hi everyone

I have comeback again with another query, you guys have been really helpful. so what I want is that "I want to remove the submit button in the questions, so as soon as the students select their answer they go to the next slide". right now you have to select an option and click submit.

is it possible. hoping to hear from you guys. cheers

The Submit button on the default Quiz slides is the MOST important embedded object, it has a lot of frunctionality built-in. You cannot get rid of it or the quiz slides will no longer be functional. You can tweak the two-step submit process, you can change the label if you want but never delete that button.

Embedded objects have no separate timeline. For the buttons you are not able to edit the actions, nor attribute a shortcut key.

Why would you get rid of that Submit button. It is the learner who is deciding when his answer(s) are ready for submitting. I don't understand why you want to take that control away? Maybe you can explain?

Hi lilybiri, thanks for your response. what i want in this quiz is that they just click on the correct answer and it moves forward. the problem that i have is that i have a timer set on for these questions. i.e. 15 seconds, i want the students to answer before that. the issue with the current set up is that if they select the correct answer and have not clicked on submit, at the end of the time the student gets full marks(i would want this to be given 0 score). so i would want them to not be awarded when they were late. hope it makes sense. cheers

I don't really see how this could be done with the regular quiz slides. It can be done with custom quiz slides, built with standard objects, interactions, variables and advanced/shared actions. Lot of work especially if you have to report the score to a LMS.
