Question

No transition is not working for me!

Please help out!

I've tried everything! (Feels like it)

I don't want to see the transitions between slides, when I preview my project! Even though, I pick 'no transition' I always see the smooth white transition between the slides. Why?

Another problem,

In my project, I have different printscreens that I want to show, and in these printscreens, I want to cover some information, and I've done that by drawing objects and placed over the information that needs to be covered. It looks good! Until I preview the project...

Then, I can see the drawed objects bright and clearly when the rest of the slide is smoothingly fading towards next slide. Why??

My question is:

* Can I somehow choose to have no transition between the slides?

* How do I manage to make the slide "as one" if the slide fades, everything in the slide should fade?

Thanks!

Can you supply some more information: how do you preview the project (F4, F12 or other)? Which version of CP do you use? What are the default transitions for the objects you add? If you really want the (no) transition applied to the slide applying to all objects, you have to merge the objects in the background, but I doubt that you want to do that.

    Hi Lilybiri,

    Thanks for your answer!!

When I merge the slide, it works.. but can I "de-merge" in case I want to change something in the slide?

I'm afraid that "de-"merging is not possible, just like you cannot undo 'Flattening' in a Photoshop-document: all the objects are forming now one big image, the background image.

So if you want ever to change things about the objects, for the moment I do not see another solution than having 2 copies of the CP-file: A-file=one with the merged backgrounds, B-file=one with all the objects in it. You can always import a changed slide from B to A... Remember to delete all unused items in the A-file. So you will have a really slim file, and that will result in a smaller SWF...
