Noob needs help with Captivate. Quiz and sharepoint questions

How do I turn a Quiz into click based as opposed to Q&A based? I want the user to get points for clicking the correct icons in a simple pass fail situation. Also how would I go about posting it to a SharePoint website? This is all for online training with Maximo! Thank you all for your support and help.

Click boxes and shape buttons (and other interactive objects) can have a score attached to them. Here is an example, more complicated than your use case:

Custom Hotspot questions in Captivate 8 - Captivate blog

If you want just a slide with two icons, one is correct, one is not correct you can follow this recipe:

  • turn both icons into shape buttons (see Turn an Image into a Button - Captivate blog)
  • for the correct icon, in the Properties panel, go to Actions tab, Reporting section, and choose Include in Quiz, edit the score if you wish to
  • for the incorrect icon you don't include it in the Quiz

You can add an action to the shape buttons, maybe show a previously hidden text or image? If you don't want an action, choose No action because the default action will be 'Go to Next Slide'.
