Not able to upload premade powerpoint to captivate

Question

Hello,

I am working with trial version of Adobe Captivate to test out if the software will work for my company. I am unable to upload premade content to the platform and wondering if its because I am in a trial version or if the platform does not support that option. Example the content is in a powerpoint and I have converted it everyway I can to see if I can upload it.

My trial version IMPORT function only gives me 2 options.

Import CSV

Project content and closed captions

Custom design options.

Please advise anything helps! We would love to be able to use this platform

Thanks for your question.

Which version of Adobe Captivate is install on your laptop?

- Adobe Captivate Classic : wich propose to integrate your powerpoint into a captivate file (.cptx) and by clicking on Export / Publish menu you can export in HTML5 or SCORM for your LMS.

- Adobe captivate 12 : no option to integrate directly a Powerpoint presentation.

Please find attached several screenshoot.

So probably the best way is to install the Adobe Captivate Classical version.

Warning, Powerpoint= Microsoft / Captivate = Adobe

so some effect or functionality could have few issues.

But, it's a good way to developp quick with existing contents...
