Number and date validation

Hi,

I have two questions:

1. I would like to know if I can set somehow a variable to the text entry box that will enable user to insert only numbers i.e. he is not able to insert text?
2. Second, can I set also to the text entry box variable that will enable user to insert only date e.g. 27-01-2011?
