Question

Object rotating backwards when published to mp4

I have 2 circles on the slide and added the "rotate to" effect to each circle. When I play the slide, or preview the project, both circles behave correctly. When I publish the project as mp4, one circle behaves correctly and the other circle moves backwards. Any suggestions?

Can you please mention the version you are using? The full version number can be found under 'About Captivate' which is either under the Help (Win) or the Captivate (Mac) menu.

Playing the slide is not a preview method, just meant for editing and synching. If you are on a version older than 11.8 you should only use F11, Preview HTML in Browser. Not all browsers have same functionalities, so try to test on multiple browsers.

I am using the 2019 Release version 11.8.1.219. When I click "Preview -> Project" or "Preview -> HMTL5 in Browser", the issue doesn't occur. It is only happening when I publish as a video.

Hmm... should have to check that out myself. Is it possible to post a screenshot of the Timeline of that slide with the Effects timelines visible as well? I want to reproduce the situation, that will be the best way. Publishing to MP4 seems to be pretty buggy in Captivate Classic.
