Objects displayed For Rest of Project

Hi,

I´m using Captivate 9 and publish in HTML5.

My question: If an object is displayed "For Rest of Project", is this object loaded only once (and then displayed for the rest of the project) or is it reloaded on every single slide?

If it`s reloaded: Is there any (other) possibility to load objects only once when they are displayed for the rest of the project?

In fact, those objects ("For Rest of Project") are displayed without any time shift when entering a new slide, so I do not know whether they really are reloaded and recreated on every single slide.

Thank you very much for any advice!

    Correct answer TLCMediaDesign

If something is displayed for rest of project, it is re-rendered on every slide, but since it has the same name, it has already been downloaded into the cache and it does not ping the server again to retrieve it.

Only the engineers could answer this with exactitude. My feeling is that the object is loaded on the slide where it really is inserted, not reloaded on each slide. It is a great way not only to save time, but also on file size and especially when you want to control the visibility with actions. That is only possible with objects timed for the rest of the project, control is not possible for objects on master slides which are an alternative.

Thank you very much for this answer! Does anybody know the answer with certainty? In fact, this is an important question regarding the executability of the courses. I want to reduce the file sizes to be loaded as far as possible.

I'm sure about file size reduction (same with shared actions), which I tested. But I'm not a programmer.
