Question

On success: Play audio?

I am trying to program a quiz for children who cannot read yet, so I need the function "play audio" on success (when a click box is clicked). Offline I tried "Open URL or file" and linked to an audio file on my hard disk. It worked, but windows media player was opened to play the file. How do I program "Play audio" on success without captivate initializing Windows Media Player (or any other player...). I'd like the audio to be played by Captivate itself, so to say - by an "invisible" player. Could anyone help me with a tip? I am a Captivate beginner, by the way.

Welcome to our community, Susanne

Try editing your Click Box and click the Options tab. Enable the Success caption and click OK. Double-click the Success caption and click the Audio tab. Attach the audio to the Success caption and you should hear the audio play when the Success Caption appears.

Cheers... Rick
