On timeline, moving mouse moves topmost Smartshape
I'm working in Captivate 9.
SITUATION: My Captivate file has a slide that has a mouse movement and several smartshapes on it. In the timeline, I select the mouse bar and move it to the right. When the left end of the mouse bar passes the right end of the first smartshape bar, the smartshape bar moves with the mouse bar at a rate that is about two times the speed that I'm moving the mouse bar. The smartshape bar continues to move at this rate until its right end is aligned with the right end of the mouse bar. At which point it moves in sync with the mouse bar. When moving the mouse bar to the left, the same ratio of movement occurs, except that the smartshape bar moves past the left end of the mouse bar until it touches the beginning of the timeline.
- This sequence of events only happens with the first smartshape on a timeline, no matter what its position in the timeline.
- Text captions are not affected.
- I'm careful to only select the mousebar and not any of the smartshape bars.
- This sequence of events happens on all slides and in multiple files.
QUESTION: Is this a bug or a feature? If it's a feature, what's its purpose?
