    Hi there

To my knowledge, Captivate may be installed on any number of computers. What really matters is how many it's "Activated" on. (You can't use it until it's been activated). It does allow for two activations as far as I am aware. This is primarily intended for a work computer and a home computer (so you can take work home) but if you haven't yet activated the second license, you could probably use it for what you need.

You can also "de-activate" to transfer from one PC to another. Then re-activate on the destination computer. But you can only do that so many times before it will stop and then request you to contact Adobe support for assistance.

    Cheers... Rick

Whenever I've had to do something like this I just download the trial version of Captivate and get that installed on the computer I need to capture on.

I don't like deactivating and reactivating Captivate on too many different computers.  There's always the chance that something will go wrong and you will find you cannot deactivate it again (usually because you no longer have access to that computer or they've had an issue and wiped the hard drive.)  Using a trial version to capture the screens is much safer.

Then you just move the files over to your development computer and copy/paste the slides where you need them.
