One slide somehow merges two videos together- what's the problem?

I have a 67 slide captivate file with a lot of practice activities and instructional videos. Somehow, a multi-slide video one one slide also plays a different multi-slide video from a completely different slide and pauses the project.  How is this happening? I can't determine the cause of it so I can't fix it.

Your project may have become corrupted.  You can try copying all slides over to a new blank project shell, but if that doesn't resolve the issue, try deleting out both of these multi-slide videos and then copying everything to a new shell.

If none of that works, then you may have no choice but to rebuild it again.  You could spend YEARS trying to fix a corrupted project without success.  Sometimes the quickest 'fix' is to ditch it and start again.
