Opening Captivate 8 with Captivate 9

Good day

Recently installed Captivate 9. Cannot open Captivate 8 projects. Go to 80% then fatal error. Any patches available to fix this issue?

This shouldn't be a problem. Some questions for you:

Is it a trial version of CP9?
Have you tried it opening any other CP8 files in CP9?
Are you able to open it in CP8 without a problem?
Are you using CP version 9.0.2.437?
As a last resort, have you tried to clear your Captivate cache and preferences?
