Opening New File

I have created two movies and want to open the second from the first. Currently I have been able to open the second from the first but it does not open in the same window. What am I doing wrong?

    My best guess:

    Next to the field where you choose the project you want to open is an arrow pointing down. Select the down arrow and select Current or Parent.
