Outline around characters

When I import characters into Captivate 6, they look fine prior to being published.  However, after being published, they have a white outline in the browser when placed against a dark background..  I've get the same results with the various characters.  I've attached two images, one showing how the character appears in Captivate before being published, and the other in a browser after being published.

Is there a solution for this?  Thanks.

    Hello,

Those are pretty good quality images, and I suspect that you still import them in slides that are set to a Quality = Low (8-bit), which is much too low. Please, change slide quality to High or Optimized (last is now default since 6.1).

    That did it!  Thank you.

8-bit doesn't support (partial) transparency neither. Had been telling the team since a while that keeping Low as default quality was a bad idea, now it has changed.
