Output quiz in e-mail attachment

Hi there,

I have succesfully implemented an e-mail report as attachment of my quiz.

Now when the report comes in, it's rather 'crude'.

I would like to translate words as "Student response", "Weight", "Latency" > for starters in my own language.

My guess is I'd have to edit the mailform Adobe is working with. But...

Where do I find this?

In what directory can I find it and under what name?

Thanks in advance!

In reference to my last post - my interest is in how you accomplished the e-mail attachment feat...I understand you still have the finessing question.  I can only dream of THAT dilemma...

Yeah, I got your question at your first posting, because I know I belong to the lucky few...

Before I started I read through the postings here and understood that everything had to work with you to get this function right.

I'm no technical wizard > I think I simply have the right server, work with Outlook etc., right settings.

I simply set my quiz preferences to "e-mail attachment" en filled in the right e-mailadress.

Both the sender and the receiver work with the same mailserver (although it worked well from home as well).

What I got from this forum is that you really have to test it in real environment.

Previews etc. won't do.

So I published a test quickly to see if I could work with it, and it did...

Sorry I can't give you any clues or hints.

All there is to say is: it CAN work, under the right circumstances...

Good luck!

By the way: for others who do get to the attachment part.

At quiz preferences you can name your quiz: instead of an number you can type a name (field is called QuizID or something).

Per question you can edit the report: instead of giving the question a default number, you can type the question (copy/paste).

Both of these things show up in your email report. That makes it already less abstract.

But my original question remains: I would like to edit more of the content of the attachment.

I would be EXCEPTIONALLY interested in how you accomplished this.  I have come to the dreaded pop-up of "Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation..." window more times than I dare say...and given the number of posts through various blog entries, the world may just shower you with gifts and accolades for making this work.
