Question

override minimum text box width?

I am applying changes to an existing course wherein the client wants some transparent text boxes replaced by Thick Border Blue' text boxes. There appears to be a minimum width for the TBB boxes, and they do not fit into the space originally allocated for the content. (These text boxes now overlap other objects on the screen.) Is there any way to (easily) override the minimum width for these text boxes?

Thanks!

The minimum size of the text box is defined by the size of the relevant bmp caption image. Therefore if you want to make it smaller then you need to open the bmp image of the caption in PhotoShop or similar and edit the image.

Thanks Michael. That helped. But I had to copy the bmp file and save it with a new name (I wanted to keep the original), and then I got all screwed up with the FCM file. I found this to be helpful as well: http://forums.adobe.com/message/172906#172906.
