Question

Overwrite playbar "Back"/"Forward" target slides?

Good day! I'm using Cap 9 with a responsive layout. This project has multiple discrete modules. I'd like to take advantage of using the playbar directly rather than my own navigation buttons. Is there a way to overwrite the target Back button slide when starting a module so that click Back goes to the menu slide rather than the previous slide? Similarly, I'd like to redirect the Forward button at the end of the module to go back to the menu slide.

Thanks for any help!

As a follow-up, I've been able to get the Back functioning as desired right out of the box, but I'm still stuck on the forward. I was hoping for a system variable for the forward target slide. Thanks for any help.

I'm curious.  How did you reprogram the Back button in the playbar to go to the menu slide, even if that was not the previous slide?

Hi, Rod. I actually didn't reprogram the button, and (after checking) I misinterpreted the behavior. The first slide of the module I was working with happened to follow the menu slide immediately. Changing the target slide variables at the slide level would be a neat feature. Ah, well, I'm good with custom navigation buttons and behaviors. Thanks for the reply, Rod.
