Question

page by page counter

Hello everybody

I'm brand new to Captivate and so far find in rather easy to use. I was asked to put a counter in my project to count the pages, resp. the slides to let the user know how far they have been advanced. Something that says like "page 12 of 25" . Would that come automatically once I hook it up to an LMS ?
Thanks for the help.
Gaby

No, sorry. That isn't a native feature of Captivate. You'd need to add something I fondly refer to as a "Flash widget" to add that functionality -- some of which you can find here: Raising Aimee - Captivate.

If you don't find exactly what you need, perhaps you can find someone skilled with Flash to build it.

The Flash application needs to query these variables: rdinfoCurrentSlide and rdinfoSlideCount.

Hopefully that will get you started.
