Hello everybody? Please I need your help.

Currently, I am having problem with a projects that pauses when it gets to the pause point on my transparent button, which is fine. However, when I click on a part of the idle screen, my slide resumes play. I don't want it that way. Please, how do I fix this?

Correct answer Lilybiri

are you saying i should check infinite attempts or give an action to the last trigger?

If you check Infinite attempts, the Last Attempt event will never occur. I don't know how you did set up the actions on the timeline at all. If you have only one attempt, you need to check the Last Attempt action, because that is what is being done at this moment when you click outside of the button. Put it to No action eventually.

Do you have infinite attempts on that button? No other interactive object on that slide?

No i don't have "infinite attempt" checked. i set my No. of Attempts 1. there are other interactive buttons on the slide, but they only become active at specific times in the slide.

However, let me explain what I am trying to achieve. I have this icons i want to use as buttons. I need them to trigger the entrance of certain texts that explains each icon individually.

Are you aware of the fact that an interactive button, when having a limited amount of attempts, has 2 events, that both can trigger an action:

  1. When clicking on the object, the Success event happens and the Success action is launched
  2. When clicking outside of the object, an in your case with 1 attempt, the Last Attempt action is triggered, can you check that action, please?
