Pause slide Exit Command Not Functioning - Cp 9

Hello. First post here and could not find this exact issue in the forums.

Building a project in Cp 9. The module will contain several lessons. We have done this before and typically had the module pause on most pages.

However, we are incorporating "Go to Next Slide" commands through each lesson, only pausing for emphasis in certain areas. We have extended the slide length out past the audio and animations - but the slides will transition to the next page and pause there. Did something change with 9 from 8, because this is not the way it has worked prior? Or are we not understanding the action command sequence? Any help is appreciated.

You don't need a Go to Next Slide if nothing is pausing the slide, it will do that on it's own. Why don't you just insert click boxes when you actually want a slide to pause?

I find it odd that you would pay twice the money for Storyline to solve a simple issue.

I notice different action states on the pauses between Responsive projects and standards.

Is this a bug?

Never use End event for pausing, posted that comment many times on the

forum. If you want slide to pause at end add shape button on master slide

that pauses. It will pause at end of each slide whatever its durati.on

Thanks. We were looking for something...anything useful other than don't use it. If that is the most we can get as far as functionality, Articulate Storyline must be the way to go.

We don't want it to pause at the end of each slide. Just a select few.

Thanks again but we are looking for a solution, not a compromise.
