Question

Pausing slides

How can I make my imported powerpoint slides behave like a standard WBT? I'm trying to add interactivity, but am running into issues with clickboxes forcing the pages to change. How can I pause a slide and allow users to click items without triggering the "continue" function of the click box? If I remove the click box, it automatically plays through the slides. If I choose the clickbox action to "No Actions" it doesn't pause when I need it to. Please help.

    Hi Anfield 231,

    1. Double click the click box.

    2. In the properties dialog, under the Click box tab, select "No Action" in the on success dropdown.

So the clickbox would pause the slide but would do nothing when the  user clicks.

    hope this resolves your issue...

    Hy,

is this an option you can find in Captivate 3 or only in Captivate 4 ?

In 3 I'm using buttons hided by an image over it.

    Thanks

This option is available in both Captivate 3 and Captivate 4. So now you need not hide that button
